About Dale Komoda, LMHC LLC

Substance use in our society has become a serious problem that is connected to underlying issues that needs attention. Sometimes we feel trapped and do not know the answers to feelings of hopelessness, guilt, shame, and fear. I know that there is a way out of addiction and it is not easy. It will take small steps to reach the goal and the goal will end in happiness. We need to ask for help in order to reach the goal and there is no shame in asking. You can make a choice for life and end drug and alcohol addiction. I know that you are thinking that it is hard to stop and have to believe that it is not true.

I have been working with the substance abuse population for 14 years at three treatment centers and enjoy helping people that are struggling with the addiction. I have used cognitive behavioral therapy to help identify triggers to use drugs and alcohol and use reality therapy for choices and goals. I believe that substance use is a belief to change.

I know that it is difficult to ask for help and that is the first step for recovery from addiction. It takes courage, determination, focus, repetition, and concentration to stay in recovery. https://dale-komoda.clientsecure.me is my online booking and my hours are 8:30am to 9:00pm on SATURDAYS ONLY.
